The Department of Capital Planning at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) plans and delivers capital construction projects on campus and throughout New York City. Our team also provides commercial real estate services, including location of new spaces, and negotiation and management of leases. We are dedicated to providing the absolute best physical environment in which to cultivate the success of WCM goals and objectives, now and in the future.

We are an active and dynamic department that works with all clinical, research, education and administrative departments on a variety of space needs. Our portfolio encompasses planning, design and construction, and includes approximately 75 active projects.

- planning and design, for increasing efficiency of spaces
- conversion of one-person offices into shared faculty offices
- transformation of spaces for new functions
- leasing of new clinical space
- outfitting of new off-campus administrative space
